The Every Victory Counts program has motivated me in a way that no other book or program has done. The way it leads you to specific things you can or should be doing is so helpful. It doesn’t just say, “You should exercise.” It gets specific. It helps you figure out where your own personal struggles with PD lie and tells you what can be done about them. And it is presented in such a positive way — “Here is what you can do to FIGHT this sucker!” I felt empowered when I finished it, and I came away with a to-do list that I am working on every day. It is kind of like a life-long New Year’s resolution! Davis Phinney’s inspiring style (I have heard him speak at several Sunflower Revolutions) comes through in the whole approach. Thanks, Davis! ~Elizabeth
It is rich in the photos, smiles and human spirit throughout. Thank you for putting it together. It marks a new beginning for sufferers of PD – we are all so much stronger because of your book. I am celebrating this book as a victory. ~Connie
I was excited to see the binder well organized with to-the-point content. ~Philip
I love the idea of a 3-ring binder so that I can continually use and update. And the worksheets are a great enhancement! I see this as a very useful tool as an add-on to the Victory Summit….~Linda
Thank you for your commitment to those of us who are living with Parkinson’s…The notebook is beautiful and so well done..It is inspiring..It’s a terrific way to focus on a “game plan”..I just received the first CD update..Thank you…It is so good to know that there are people who care about me….Thank you for all your are doing..it is appreciated ~Miller
You and the foundation amaze me daily with your generosity and continued care of those stricken with this life altering disease! We received our copy of the manual the other day and we were strongly taken aback! My husband was diagnosed about 10 yrs ago and has been through so many grueling situations since then only to discover he has progressed significantly in the last 2-3 yrs. I am attempting to integrate life changes in our routines now especially since we have a better tool to use now.Again, our heartfelt thank you for your thoughtfulness! ~Coleen
I am currently a caregiver for my wife who has PD. she is 73 years old and I am 82. She was diagnosed approx. 10 years ago and I only wished I had known then what I have learned now about PD. I just finished watching your DVD that I received from you today and want to commend you on a great job. This is a great way of letting us who are unable to attend share in participation and increase our knowledge of this disease. Keep up the good work.
I have used your manual which I have found very helpful. I took it with me when we had our latest visit to the neurologist and she was quite interested in it her name is Dr. Susan Baser. As my wife says ” it could be worse” when we see what others have. Once again keep up the good work. ~Eugene
